In other business, council is to meet in a committee of the whole at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 28 to hear results of a study on the use of East Tower as a possible joint justice facility.
Montz said he hopes everyone considers the value of East Tower and Courthouse Square and encourages all to wait until the study is presented to make a decision.
"We need to take everything into account with that green space. I think it's very important for the downtown," he said. "I hope that we look at the bigger picture."
